Pokémon Go – how to evolve Poliwhirl to Politoed, Slowpoke to Slowking, and how to get a King’s Rock
With the arrival of Second Generation Pokémon new Pokémon were added, such as the Politoed it’s the Slowking, which need a special item to evolve, the King’s Rock.
With this short guide you will discover how to evolve Poliwhirl to Politoed, Slowpoke to Slowking, and how to get a King’s Rock in Pokémon Go.
How to evolve a Poliwhirl into a Politoed in Pokémon Go
To get a Politoed in the main series Pokémon games, you had to go through a somewhat laborious process. In addition to having to find a King’s Rock, you had to find a friend or someone who was willing to exchange a Poliwhirl with you at the same time that that Pokémon holds a King’s Rock.
On the other hand, this process is a little simpler in Pokémon Go. You still need a considerable amount of Candy, but after getting these items you just have to find a King’s Rock, and then evolve the Poliwhirl normally, just as you would with the other Pokémon that evolve through Candy.
How to evolve a Slowpoke into a Slowking in Pokémon Go
To get a Slowking you simply have to follow the steps we mentioned earlier and you will get your Slowpoke evolution. Slowking is an alternative evolution of Slowpoke, functioning as an alternative to Slowbro. Interestingly, both Slowbro and Slowking have identical stats, which means that if you are undecided between which Slowpoke evolution to choose, simply choose the one you like best, or the one you lack in Pokédex, of course.

Pokémon Go features Daily Bonuses that reward players who play this game daily. In addition, if you play Pokémon Go consecutively for 7 days, on the seventh day you will receive a special evolution item. There is no way to find out which item you will receive, but there are only 5 of these items in the game, so you are likely to be able to get a King’s Rock quickly.
