What can I do if I get error messages in Pokémon Home?
First of all, you should make sure that your mobile device meets the minimum requirements of Pokémon Home in order to rule out any compatibility problems.
The minimum requirements on iOS and Android are as follows:
- Apple iOS 9 or higher
- Android 6.0 or higher (64-bit)
The Pokémon Company also points out the following:
- Compatibility with devices that meet the iOS or Android requirements cannot be guaranteed.
- Functionality cannot be guaranteed on all devices, including tablets.
What if I still have problems with Pokémon Home?
If you meet the minimum requirements of Pokémon Home and still have problems, there are other steps that you can check:
- Make sure you have the latest version of Pokémon Home installed.
- Make sure the application has access to your mobile device’s camera.
- Ensures that GPS and location services are turned on.
If you cannot redeem a code in the app, you should make sure that the location services are switched on. It can also take a while for the code to appear in the app.
If nothing else works or it takes too long for a code to be displayed in the game, you can restart the app or the mobile phone.
How do I resolve error codes 8807, 999, 992, or 2-ALZTA-0005 in Pokémon Home on the Switch?
Does Pokémon Home show you one of the following error codes on the switch? 2-ALZTA-0005, 8807, 999 or 992?
If that’s the case, don’t despair, the solution isn’t complicated.
This looks like you will delete the game status of the Pokémoh Home App. And don’t worry: it doesn’t affect your Pokémon saved online in Pokémon Home.
Go to the System settings, then to Data management and to Save data / screenshots. Here you choose Delete saved data and then the data from Pokémon Home.
Have you done that, restart the app and hopefully the problem has been solved.
