Enjoy the story and find out how it all started

Players who have been following Pokémon for 20 years and those who have been introduced to the series through Pokémon GO are invited to become a Pokémon Trainer in a classic Pokémon story. Players begin their adventure in Pallet Town and embark on a journey to find, catch, and train as many Pokémon as possible to become the greatest Pokémon Trainer ever. Based on that of Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition, the story is brought to life in colorful HD graphics. Players must team up with their partner Pikachu or partner Eevee to thwart the evil plans of Team Rocket, who want to use the Pokémon for their own dark purposes. Even after completing the story, there is still plenty to do, such as challenging powerful Master Trainers, catching all 151 Pokémon, and more. In addition, any Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region can be transferred from Pokémon GO to Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!

A friend can join your adventure at any time

With the Support Play feature, friends and family can join your adventure to lend a hand. For example, this feature allows a sibling to explore the world together with a single Joy-Con and a Poké Ball Plus (or a single Joy-Con each), both followed by a partner Pokémon. During battles, both players can control and command a Pokémon, giving them extra advantages, while they can increase the chance of catching a wild Pokémon by throwing their Poké Ball at the same time. Thanks to the flexibility of the Nintendo Switch system, friends and family can play the adventure on TV at home or take it on a trip to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

Catch Pokémon like never before with the Poké Ball Plus

For the first time in the Pokémon series, players can use a Poké Ball Plus to catch Pokémon with a simple throw, just like a real Pokémon Trainer would. The Poké Ball Plus is a Poké Ball-shaped device that can be used as a controller instead of the Joy-Con in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! andPokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! The Poké Ball has motion control sensors and can vibrate and make noise. It lets out the cry of the Pokémon it contains – as if you really caught it! The Poké Ball Plus also pairs with Pokémon GO and lets players know when a Pokémon is nearby, so they don’t have to check their phone. Players can throw a Poké Ball by pressing the button on their Poké Ball plus, the device will light up and vibrate to let you know if the Pokémon has been caught. As long as the Poké Ball Plus is connected to the player’s phone, it also keeps track of how far they’ve traveled with it so they can hatch eggs or get candy from their Pokémon friends.

Connect to Pokémon Go for even more fun

Pokémon GO is connected to Pokémon in many ways: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!. For example, players can move the Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region from Pokémon GO to these two new Nintendo Switch games. When players have connected their Pokémon GO game to Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! their Pokémon arrive at the GO Park complex. Here, players can watch their Pokémon run around and have fun. There is no limit to the number of Pokémon GO accounts that can be associated with a save file in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! meaning players aren’t limited to the Pokémon from their own Pokémon GO account – they can also get Pokémon from friends and family. Join Pikachu or Eevee on an adventure in the Kanto region and catch Pokémon in a whole new way in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!. Both titles are available today for Nintendo Switch.
