We finally got to know the console’s release date and prices.
Update (Polish prices):
A few hours after the end of the presentation, the Polish branch of Sony finally revealed the domestic prices of both console models.

The PlayStation 5 Showcase was filled with game trailers, but many of us were looking mainly for the PS5 release date and the prices of various models. Sony made us wait for this information until the very end of the presentation.
PlayStation 5 will debut in Poland on November 19 this year. A week earlier, the console will be released in the United States, Japan, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea. According to Geoff Keighley, pre-orders are to start tomorrow in selected stores.
Two models will be available. Standard with Blu-Ray drive will cost 499.99 euro, or 2,226 zlotys. The price of the second variant, i.e. the PS5 Digital Edition without a disc reader, will be EUR 399.99 (about PLN 1781). Microsoft will have the cheapest next-gen in the form of the Xbox Series S. It should be noted here that this model is to be weaker in terms of hardware than the XSX, and in the case of Sony machines, the cheaper PS5 will only be devoid of a Blu-ray drive, while the specification will remain unchanged.
For now, the domestic branch of Sony has not yet announced the official prices of PlayStation 5 and PS5 Digital Edition in Poland.

I wonder what difference $ 100 will make. Marketing is the most important thing now. Will MS be able to convince players that the Series S differs only in the chapter (imo fake), and Sony will tell you that for $ 400 we get the most powerful equipment only without a drive. Its going to be interesting:)
