PUBG Corp. revealed details of the new content update for PUBG Mobile which is now available to download on Android and iOS. The main novelty is the Livik map, exclusive to this version of the game.

São Paulo, July 7, 2020 – The Livik map has arrived at PUBG Mobile, the first exclusive to the mobile version of the original battle royale. Set in a stunning Nordic landscape, the new battleground is one of the highlights of the massive 0.19.0 content update, which is now available for free download on iOS and Android.
At just 2km² in size, Livik is ideal for frantic confrontations between 52 players, with fast and action-packed gameplay of around 15 minutes per match. Livik introduces players to map-exclusive equipment and vehicles such as the P90 submachine gun, Mk12 sniper rifle, and Monster Truck vehicle. The map is still in the Beta stage and will be continuously updated to improve the gameplay experience.
Update 0.19.0 also offers a number of other new features, such as:
bonfire mode
Players queuing up for Erangel and Miramar have a chance to experience this new game type, in which three unique items can be found. You can burn figurines to earn supplies and items for special events. Giant statues, on the other hand, have several stages of construction, which change as the event progresses, until they burn in the final phase of the event. Finally, camps are set up around the statues containing supplies that can be found inside the tents.
Livik Training Special Event
During the event period, players can discover crates around Livik, containing special weapons. In addition to different names and icons, these weapons offer slightly stronger attributes than normal weapons, providing essential advantages on the battlefield.
Fun Space
The popular social area where up to 20 players can interact in real-time now features shooting range trenches, added hot air balloon launchers, new emotes and much more. Players can also tackle the new firearm-specific Quick Draw Duel and participate in the Elite Challenge to practice their marksmanship.
Additional features of the 0.19.0 update include:
New arena accessory – Players can equip the new Barrel Extender attachment to most sniper rifles, rifles, and SMGs. It increases the range of the firearm and decreases ranged damage reduction;
Season Warm Up Event – At the end of Season 13, players can enlist in teams of four in Classic Mode to complete missions and earn Season 14 leaderboard points.
Basic combat balances – Several improvements have been made to the Gathering tab, Combat Operation Settings, Parachute Gauge Display, and more.
Miscellaneous improvements – Tweaks and improvements to system features, radio messages, vouchers, the Weapon Crafting system, firearm accessory finishing features, download speeds, achievement rankings, clan rankings, settings features, and in the Companions section .
After this massive update, more information will be released soon about the upcoming Ancient Secret special mode and Royale Pass Season 14.
