Razer announces Razer Raptor, its first monitor

CES 2019 in Las Vegas, one of the biggest technology events of the year, will only officially open its doors tomorrow, but Razer has already started announcing the news it has in store for 2019. The first one is the Razer Raptor, the first monitor from brand.

At 27 inches, the Razer Raptor will feature an IPS panel with WQHD resolution (2560×1440), HDR and FreeSync technology for AMD graphics cards. It will also have a response rate of 1 ms with Motion Blur reduction and an update rate up to 144 Hz.

Razer says its monitor adopts a minimalist design. The monitor is mostly coated with black matte and has a base made of forged aluminum. On the back of the monitor there is a special finish in metal and for a “touch of elegance”.

Like other Razer products, the Raptor has Razer Chroma lighting. In this case, the lighting is at the base, which you can customize with various lighting effects and 16.8 million colors using the Razer Synapse software.

The Razer Rapto can be rotated up to 90 degrees and the base of the rear hides an elegant cable storage. The five flat-shaped green cables are included in the package.

The price will be $ 699.99. The launch is scheduled for the end of 2019 in the United States and Canada.
