Records are broken by the Ninteno Switch, which went great in the Wildlands.
Nintendo was a huge success with its latest platform, and Ghost Recon Wildlands also broke up tremendously last month.
After a long wait and guesswork, Nintendo’s latest innovative console, the Nintendo Switch, has finally been released. Many people still doubt what such a weird console can do, not to mention that the first series isn’t exactly perfect, but for sure, if nothing else, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will unshakably jerk the platform for success.
The game industry analysis NPD Group also shared this month what data they managed to gather on the previous month’s financial success, and the results include some surprises. First and foremost, how powerfully Nintendo has turned its luck on the Wii U after its dewy success:

“The Nintendo Switch has surpassed all of its hardware starts to date and has been the second most successful new platform in the world since 1995 (so since NPD follows this category).”
Clearly contributed to the success was Breath of the Wild, one of the most successful games of recent times and clearly the console’s biggest pull title. Of course, this wasn’t the only strong move of the month, as Mass Effect was released in March: Andromeda and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands were also released, with the latter taking first place right away.

Anyway, the entire gaming industry earned a total of $ 485 million on hardware (the release of Switch threw a lot of that) and $ 612 million on software, so it still seems worth selling games. For the sake of completeness, let’s look at the top 10 list for March:
What do you think? Deserved the first place in the Wildlands? What future do you predict for the Nintendo Switch?
