Resident Evil 8 Village: new details of its enemies, gameplay and setting.
Resident Evil 8 Village is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC in 2021, with a gothic horror setting and new enemies …
We are impatient for the launch of Resident Evil 8 Village, which will continue the events seen in Resident Evil 7 and will continue to bet on said terror formula PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC, for lack of knowing if it will also end up coming out on PS4 and Xbox One.
Peter fabiano, member of Capcom and producer of the game, has revealed some more details of this eighth installment of Resident Evil, in relation to the new enemies, the setting of the title, the horror style for which it is committed and certain new features in its gameplay.

” We hope fans enjoy exploring the desolate snowy village in which Resident Evil Village takes place, where new enemies await in the franchise. Players will regain control of Ethan winters, experiencing more of the story set in motion in Resident Evil 7. New technologies allow us to immerse players in the game in ways that we could not achieve before, in what we hope will be the most exciting Resident Evil game to date” Fabiano explains to IGN.
First of all, one of the new images shows us who may be the Nemesis of this Resident Evil 8, a creature inspired by northern European folklore (similar to Krampus) with a huge hammer, to which we still cannot name. It is also reminiscent of eastern creatures such as the Yokai.

On the other hand, this Resident Evil 8 Village will bet on a gray tone, muted, similar to the one we could see in Resident Evil Remake or Resident Evil Zero, with clear gothic horror influences, using snow and architectural details of northern Europe, almost in a medieval tone.
The producer of the game has confirmed the return of the crows, old acquaintances of the saga, and even bats, as we were able to experience (suffer) in person in Resident Evil Zero.

Of course, there has also been talk of return of the zombies, but it seems that they will be closely linked to werewolves in Resident Evil 8. These beastmen might be more common than we think, and most importantly: they would chase the player beyond the outskirts of the village, giving up the static concept of enemies from other games in the series.

Do you want to try this new Resident Evil 8? You don’t need to answer, we know you do, and hopefully early 2021 we can put ourselves in the shoes of Ethan to live this frigid and terrifying adventure.
