Capcom’s live broadcast tonight dedicated to Resident Evil Village is generating a lot of buzz. In a matter of a few hours we will know more details of the eighth numbered installment of the saga, although apparently there are some surprises that have been anticipated to the announcement if we look at the product sheet of the game in Humble Bundle.
The digital store indicates that the direct sequel to Resident Evil 7 will include a game mode called Resident Evil Re: Verse, which points to being a multiplayer moder that would be available within the title, as already happened in the Resident Evil 3 remake with Resident Evil Resistance.
At the moment there are no more details about it, but the Humble Bundle indicates that this mode in question will have its own official website. Yes, at the moment it is not operational, so it is to be expected that tonight, if it ends up being confirmed, it will activate and show us what exactly it will consist of.
Another reason that makes us suspect that it will be a multiplayer mode is that on the Resident Evil website on the occasion of its 25th anniversary there is a section for join the closed beta of a mysterious game. In turn, it is indicated that this test will take place in PS4 and Xbox One and it will be tonight when all the information will be offered.
However, what has already been indicated are the dates on which said beta will take place and will be from January 27 to 31 in a few different time slots. It will be time to wait until 23: 00h in Spain (4:00 p.m. in CDMX) to find out what Resident Evil Re: Verse is about.
