Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Retribution

The fourth DLC pack for the best-selling US console game of 2016 is now available for download on PlayStation 4 via PlayStation Network. Published by Activision and developed by Infinity Ward, Retribution includes four epic new multiplayer maps, as well as a final Zombies adventure, Beast from the Abyss, which will take players to an abandoned military base on a remote ice planet where they will face hordes of the undead. As Dave Stohl, studio head of Infinity Ward said:

Retribution DLC for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is now available on PlayStation 4

From the beginning, our goal was to give Infinite Warfare players complete freedom to choose the combat style that suits them best, so that they feel comfortable on all maps. Retribution delivers on that promise, and we can’t wait for our community to jump into the game. Additionally, Retribution is the finale of our Zombie story. So we take players to a whole new place full of secrets and puzzles, where they will discover the true motivation behind their opponent’s actions.

Return of the heroes

Retribution is the conclusion to the five-part Zombie Infinite Warfare experience, Beast from the Abyss. The terrifying co-op storyline sees the return of Willard Wyler, an enigmatic villain voiced and modeled by Paul Reubens (Pee-wee’s Big Holiday, Gotham). Wylard has trapped the four main characters again in his all-new horror experience. The film is set in an abandoned military base on a remote ice planet. As players discover more and more infected teammates as time goes on, they are forced to battle herds of undead in order to uncover the truth and leave Wyler’s film sets once and for all. The Beast from Beyond also includes new weapons, traps, and more to complete the unique Call of Duty action. Returning to the cast are Seth Green as “Poindexter”, Ike Barinholt as “AJ”, Jay Pharoah as “Andre” and Sasheer Zamata as “Sally”, bringing the story together.

Retribution includes four new multiplayer maps

  • Carnage
    • A post-apocalyptic race track on the California coast. Carnage features long-range firing points and environmental hazards – including fire traps that players can set off to fry enemies.
  • Heartlan
    • In Heartland, teams will go head-to-head in a small American town simulation that is a new take on the classic Warhawk map from Call of Duty: Ghosts. Players can grab a bite to eat at the local ice cream parlor, then take opponents off the street with the Black Hole Generator.
  • Altitude
    • Set in a luxurious, sky-high shopping mall located on the outskirts of the universe, it throws players into the chaotic middle, where efficient flanking is the key to success. In addition, the map is surrounded by spectacular waterfalls floating in the air.
  • Depot 22
    • A dive on the edge of civilization and at the same time a three-line map ideal for mid-range clashes. Players can fight in close quarters in the cantina or take down enemies on the cars of a speeding train.

The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Retribution Map Pack is available at a great price as part of the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Season Pass, which can be purchased on its own or as part of the Legacy Pro and Digital Deluxe editions.
