Milestone today announced that RIDE 4 will be available on January 21, 2021 for PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X. Players who purchase the Playstation®4 version of the game can download the PS5™ version at no additional cost until April 30, 2021. this also applies to all DLCs already purchased. Players who purchase the Xbox One version of the game will be able to automatically download the Xbox Series X version of the game through the Smart Delivery feature at no additional cost.
The specifications of both next-gen consoles lend themselves perfectly to RIDE 4. Players can experience smoother and more radiant gameplay at 60FPS and up to 4K resolution. This means they can enjoy their beloved vehicles at the highest quality with shaders, textures and heaps of detail. These specifications apply not only to the vehicles, but also to the environment. In addition, the driving experience will be extremely precise, satisfying and natural. Thanks to the extra power of the next-gen consoles, all races, offline and online, become even more exciting!
On PS5™, RIDE 4 fans will experience the power of the PS5 DualSense’s advanced haptic feedback, allowing players to feel realistic vibrations from their vehicles. The throttle and brake controls have their own resistance to make the controls feel even more realistic. Loading times have been significantly reduced thanks to the new SSD. This means shorter waiting times for each race, but it also makes for a better gameplay experience during races. That’s because streaming textures is much faster. The player is therefore really immersed in the environment at speeds of 300 km/h.
In RIDE 4, Milestone collaborates with two of the most iconic brands in the two-wheeler world: Yamaha Motor and Bridgestone. Yamaha Motor is Milestone’s main partner for RIDE 4 and is featured on the RIDE 4 Special Edition Steelbook, which also includes access to the Season Pass. This Special Edition is dedicated to the iconic Yamaha R1 2020.
RIDE 4 digital pre-orders also start today. Anyone who pre-orders the Standard Edition on PS4™ and Xbox One will receive a bonus pack containing two iconic bikes, five new events and an additional achievement/trophy. The Special Edition pre-order includes four iconic bikes, ten new events, two additional achievements/trophies and three days early access to the game. On Steam, the pre-order bonus offers a 10% discount on the price of the game, two iconic bikes, five new events and an extra achievement.
RIDE 4 will be released on October 8, 2020 for PlayStation®4, Xbox One and Windows PC/STEAM and January 21, 2021 for PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X.
