Dark Souls Remastered hasn’t even made it to Nintendo Switch yet, but a new rumor suggests it won’t be the only game in the hybrid series.
According to unofficial sources, the work done to convert the remaster of the first Dark Souls may already be used to put the second title in the From Software series on Switch.
The rumor, via NintendoLife, indicates that Bandai Namco is already preparing Dark Souls 2 and that the remaster served to maximize efficiency when converting the series to Switch.
Dark Souls: Remastered will be released on October 19th and so far Bandai Namco has not commented on any intentions to convert Dark Souls 2 for Nintendo Switch.
However, Switch’s popularity is making conversions and remasters more and more enticing, something that Bandai Namco may be interested in this release.
