Samsung has been changing its strategy for some time, resulting in the one presented some time ago Galaxy A7 (2018), as well as the Galaxy A9 (2018), which after many leaks finally got its official premiere. The biggest distinguishing feature of this model is the quadruple (!) main camera. Here’s what you need to know about the latest representative of the A series.
Let’s start this entry with the specifications of all cameras, because this is probably the most important “function” of this device. So, in short, I will bring you closer to what Samsung decided to show in A9 (2018):
- 8 Mpx wide-angle lens with a viewing angle of 120 degrees; aperture f/2.4.
- 10 Mpx telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom ; aperture f/2.4
- 24 Mpx main lens; aperture f/1.7
- 5 Mpx secondary lens, whose task is to collect information about depth and obtain the bokeh effect; aperture f/2.2
There was also no shortage front camerawhich is characterized in this case 24 Mpx resolution and f/2.0 aperture.
Let’s move on to the device specifications. Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) was equipped with 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. His heart is Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor with Adreno 512 graphics. The set is supported by 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in memory. The z variant will also be available for sale 8GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory. There is also a slot for the device microSD cardthanks to which the internal memory can be expanded with more 512 GB.
Connectivity in the device is provided by the following modules: dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), LTE Cat. 9, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, A-GPS, Glonass, Beidou and USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack. There was also no shortage fingerprint reader and Dual SIM. Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is working under control Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience overlay and is powered by battery with a capacity of 3720 mAh with support for fast charging technology. Everything has dimensions 162.5 x 77 x 7.8mm and weighs 183 grams.
The Polish branch of Samsung announced that the Galaxy A9 (2018) will appear on the Polish market in mid-November this year. So far, we have no official information on the price of this model, but information has appeared on the web that suggests that the A9 (2018) it will cost 599 euros for the 6GB/128GB version.
