This year’s cucumber season is basically over, yesterday’s premiere of flagships from Meizu and today’s Samsung Galaxy Note9 clearly indicate that from now until the end of this year we will be flooded with new premieres from time to time. As a matter of fact, we knew almost everything about the Korean manufacturer’s phablet some time ago, today we can officially confirm most of this data.
First of all, the name, quite unexpectedly in all the information about the new phone, the name Samsung Galaxy Note9 appeared, and not Samsung Galaxy Note 9 as it might seem. This one small break can be a bit confusing, but it is a purely visual operation and in total there is nothing behind it a bigger message. In the case of the Galaxy Note9, we get a large 6.4-inch display that works at a maximum resolution of 2960 × 1440 pixels, the whole is standardly bent on the left and right edges, and we also have an aspect ratio of 18.5: 2. The heart of the device is the latest Samsung chip, i.e. Exynos 9820, it is additionally supported by 6 GB or 8 GB of built-in internal memory, and depending on the version, 128 GB or 512 GB of built-in internal memory. Importantly, we have a hybrid Dudal SIM here, so we can also use an external microSD memory card. The specification is complemented by a capacious 4000 mAh battery, 2×12 Mpx dual main camera with variable aperture F1.5/F2.4, 8 Mpx front camera.

As standard, we also get the S-Pen stylus, which in the case of this year’s Galaxy Note generation has received quite a lot of new possibilities. Thanks to the use of Bluetooth Low-Energy, we gain a much larger range of functions. Firstly, we are able to use the stylus as a camera shutter release, stop playing a movie, music, etc. The important thing is that developers will have access to the capabilities of the S-Pen, so there are even more interesting solutions waiting for us here.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 will be available on store shelves from August 24 this year in Midnight Black, Lavender Purple with styluses in the color matched to the housing and Ocean Blue with S Pen in yellow. Finally, the price. The basic version of the Samsung Galaxy Note9 will cost exactly PLN 4,299, we are talking about the version with 6 GB of RAM on board and 128 GB of built-in internal memory.
