Event characteristics
- Throughout this event on the occasion of the Pokémon movie Secrets of the Jungle, we have the return of Jessie and James returning to the program.
- We will have Explorer Pikachu making its debut in the game, and it is available from December 14 to December 21. Note that this character will appear in the wild and you could also find it variocolor.
- We will have the Pokémon Hour featured on Tuesday afternoon from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., where Explorer Pikachu will appear more frequently in the wild and on top of that, you will receive double the candy for capturing Pokémon.
- We can also meet Pokémon related to the movie Pokémon the secrets of the jungle until Thursday, December 17. This way Hoothoot, Nuzleaf, Drilbur, Cottonee, and Dwebble will appear more frequently in the wild, and you might also encounter a Durant.
- Lickitung, Mawile, Flygon and Rufflet will appear in raids
- Then Igglybuff, Smoochum, Elekid, Magby, Bonsly and Rufflet will hatch from 5 km eggs

How to get through the special research event to meet Shiny Celebi
Step 1
- Transfer 10 Pokémon: 10 Ultra Balls
- Catch 10 Grass-type Pokémon – Encounter Nuzleaf
- Evolve 3 Grass-type Pokémon: Encounter Cottonee
Rewards: Diglett of Kanto, 500 Stardust, 1000 Experience
Step 2
- Play with your partner 10 times: pokocho
- Take a photo of a Grass-type Pokémon: Combee
- Give your friend 10 candies: Cherubi
Rewards: Pinsir encounter, 500 stardust, 1000 experience
Step 3
- Defeat Jessie or James four times: revive maximum 5 units
- Make Five Great Throws: Meet Hoothoot
- Hatch Three Eggs: Encounter Whinsicott
Reward: Vibrava encounter, 500 stardust, and 1000 experience
Final step
Claim the reward of 500 experience, Iddish and Foongus
Shiny Celebi encounter general rewards, 500 Stardust, and 1000 experience
Although there is enough time, some challenges, especially those in step 3, may take longer, so it is recommended that you start now.
