SEGA presented a better quality version of yesterday’s video, in which you could see Ichiban Kasuga, the protagonist of the new Yakuza fighting in a system by turns and commands.

SEGA also confirmed that this is a April Fool’s Day game and that the video will only be available until April 8.

The video demonstrated turn-based combat and left fans wondering whether it was a novelty, a joke or a mini-game. According to SEGA, it was just a joke.

Ryga Ga Gotoku Studio of SEGA, responsible for the Yakuza series, shared a new video where you can see Ichiban Kasuga, the new protagonist, fighting.

This new video is already giving rise to talk among the fan community of the series because, despite the presence of the new protagonist, it shows fighting by turns and commands – a novelty in the series.

Toshihiro Nagoshi, creator of the series, said the new game will surprise, which is leaving fans to question the veracity of the video. Did Nagoshi speak in a totally different combat style, or are we facing a game of April Fools’ Day?

SEGA may be showing a mini-game, something for which the series became known, which when being shared on April Fool’s Day is giving way to talk, but for now we will have to wait for more information from the company.

The truth is that we now wonder how much we would like to have a game with this turn-based combat system and with commands, even if it was through a mini-game in Shin Yakuza.
