Return to the base of the statue of Aphrodite. After destroying the seed here, we have one final puzzle area to explore. You can climb the stairs to the right and slide down or return to the platform at the very beginning of the area and take the left path.
In both cases, you will find a path with a tile Checkpoint leading to a door in the distance. Pull the lever near the door to open it and continue inside.
Stop as soon as you enter. If you go too far, enemies will appear. The room is filled with poisonous gases. You will see a seed in the next structure. There are several lit torches here, so use your Apollo Arrows by shooting through one of them, then through open windows to destroy the seed.
After clearing the gas, enter the room and beat the shadows that appear – be careful as there is a more powerful hammer-wielding shadow and an elite blue shadow that will make things a bit trickier. Once the enemies are all dead, the next door will open.
Jump through the space to reach a checkpoint tile and another door. Before you pull the lever, look here for a root path on the side of the ledge. This leads to a treasure chest with 2x Charon coins.
Go back to the lever and use it to enter the next door. As you head inside, a Minotaur will appear. Note that there are two seeds in the two central structures here, so there is poison gas all over the room. As it can be difficult to fight the Minotaur in the small, safe space near the door, take your opportunities during the breaks in the Minotaur attacks to use Apollo’s arrows to take out the two seeds. There are several ledges around the room with healing potions if needed.
After eliminating the Minotaur, the next door will open. Continue through here to reach a ledge with a panel that we can walk on for the seed near the base of the statue of Aphrodite to materialize in the distance. Shoot an arrow through the torch to hit the seed, clearing the path.
If you have cleared the three main seeds around the base of the statue, the thorns and gas blocking the outstretched main arm will now be cleared. Go up to the arm of the statue and on its shoulder you will find a sign. Step on it to start a fire. Shoot an arrow through this and into the seed just beyond the statue’s arm to destroy it.
From the hand of the statue we can jump on a platform with a healing potion. The stairs next to this lead to a large arena area above where we will fight the area leader. Make sure you are ready!
When you’re ready to go, head up the stairs to continue.
Boss: Ozomen the Tornado
Ozomena is a flying boss who looks like a much meaner version of the harpy foes we’ve encountered before. He has many very damaging abilities and is also inclined to summon lesser harpy enemies to aid him during combat. It spends most of the time in the air, but can also occasionally fall to the ground to attack.
The boss loves to fly at high speed through the arena in an attempt to hit you, leaving a trail of flaming bullets on the ground behind him. He can also hover in the air and fire an energy projectile from a distance. Its most damaging aerial attack, however, is a dive bomb attack in which it will briefly glow purple before hitting the ground and unleashing a large wave of fire radiating from its landing point. It will also detonate any flaming rocks that the boss previously dropped. We will either have to flee the shock wave to clear its range, or perform a double jump to overcome it unscathed.
When the boss decides to fall to the ground, he’ll use his arms and wings to perform full-scale melee attacks – these are pretty easy to dodge, but if you stay too long near him, you risk the boss unleashes his dive bomb attack to pull you back.
The other main part of this fight is that the boss occasionally falls to the arena floor and glows a silver / gray color. He will spawn harpy enemies here. This is our best damage opportunity – not only is he vulnerable to attack when he’s on the ground like this, but killing harpy enemies will add chunks to the boss’s stun. If you’re too slow to clean Harpies, it can generate additional waves, so you’ll need to take them out as soon as they appear.
Our strategy here should be to avoid the boss’s ranged attacks and return fire with your bow, or projectiles (we can throw the flaming rocks he drops) and not engage him with your melee attacks. only when he gets close … and even then, only briefly to avoid the dive bomb attack. Wait for the boss to spawn the Harpy enemies and attack the boss while he’s down and still. Send out the Harpies like threads as they spawn and work on filling up the stun meter so they can deal heavy damage.
Once the boss’s health bar is depleted, the fight will end.
Once the boss has been eliminated, a set of platforms will appear nearby with gusts of wind leading to a higher platform. Slide on it. On the last platform, there is a clam with a shiny object inside. Approach and interact with her to receive the essence of Aphrodite.
After collecting the essence of Aphrodite, you will leave the crypt.
Free Aphrodite from her plant form
With the essence of Aphrodite now in our possession, we will have to return to the hall of the gods, where Aphrodite awaits us. Speak with her here to give her back her essence, returning her to her former glory. This will complete the quest.
Evil Goddesses – Immortals Fenyx Rising
The quest to free Aphrodite is drawing to a close in Immortals Fenyx Rising. It is now necessary to enter the crypt of Aphrodite to free the latter.
Collect the essence of Aphrodite
Once in the crypt of Aphrodite, go forward until you place yourself on a base that allows you to shoot a flaming arrow towards one of the bulbs of the giant root, which will disperse the poisonous cloud.
Subsequently, you will have to take a wooden crate using the Force of Heracles, and navigate between the platforms. Do not go downstairs, since the toxic cloud will deal a lot of damage to you.
Place the crate on the plinth on the right and shoot an arrow at the flaming torch. You will then have to make a U-turn with the arrow to aim at the bulb which is on the ground, between two platforms.
You can then go down to move a ball and put it on its base to open the portal on the left, which contains a Ambroisie. Come back to shoot another flaming arrow at the other bulb nearby to clear the road.
In the next room, you can turn to the left to aim the torch, then make a U-turn with the arrow to aim at the bulb locked behind grids.
This will free up some space for you to fight the minotaur, which is formidable. Have him rush at you to avoid him at the last moment so that he bumps into a wall, then attack him with the ax and the bird to advance his stun bar.
Then continue to aim for the next torch and burn the bulb of the large root. Return to the entrance to the Minotaur Room to find an epic chest nearby, containing two pieces of Charon.
In the next room, you will just have to burn all the bulbs on the way using your arrows. You will then have to move balls in order to place them in a base while paying attention to the holes on the ground. At the end of the area, a chest with a thunderbolt of Zeus waiting for you.
Once everything is in place, you will be able to shoot a flaming arrow at the next bulb through the entire area, waiting for the right moment to pass between the moving grids.
Then go to the next room, which will ask to shoot a ball using the Force of Heracles. The goal is to guide this ball through the labyrinth, sometimes placing it towards torches to burn the objects that are blocking it.
When the passage is cleared, you can position yourself on a base to aim for the next bulb, then climb on the root to face the boss of the dungeon, Ozomena the Tornado.
Ozomena is not that different from classic flying monsters, in that his attacks are similar. The best time to reach it is when it is rushing at you.
By avoiding at the last moment, the slow motion allows to place ax blows. Your own bird will also be useful, especially when it summons its minions, so don’t hesitate to abuse it by watching over your stamina.
Once the monster is defeated, continue your way to recover The Essence of Aphrodite, which will then have to be brought back to the Hall of the Gods. The goddess will offer you her final blessing, “Aphrodite’s Rapture,” and this questline will come to an end.
