[SOLVED] : how to stop the conspiracy and start your own kingdom -Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord

The plot quest explained in Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord

While playing the main quest in Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord, you receive a quest where the person who gave you the dragon banner will attempt to knock you down. You have the option to stop the conspiracy when it happens. However, there are a few issues with this. Because Bannerlord is in Early Access, that’s to be expected, and at the moment, there isn’t much to do.

When you receive notification from someone trying to plot against you, you can open your Quest Log to see “The Plan of Istiana” or “The Conspiracy of Arzagos”, depending on who you are dating. are tidied up during the Dragon Banner quest. Usually, this notification appears after receiving the quest “Unify the Empire”. Whichever one appears, you’ll see a progress bar, and it’s usually in the middle of 1,000 of 2,000.

The quest prompt that everyone struggles with is Stopping the Conspiracy. As of this writing, it’s impossible to do, and you won’t be able to do it at all. Instead, you have to watch the progress bar in the Conspiracy Quest increase steadily until a faction declares war on you. You have to fight them and try to win peace with them. There is no peace option in the Kingdom menu, so the best way to go is to fight them until you capture enough of their leaders and territories until you can meet the leader. of the faction on the map and negotiate peace.

Unfortunately, there are a handful of bugs that you may encounter during the process of completing this quest. The best way to make sure you keep the Quest and don’t lose it is to save often. You want to spare yourself your few days of play to provide a bug that breaks quests doesn’t mean you failed it, for reasons unknown.

We will update this guide regularly as the developers at TaleWorlds Entertainment try to find a way to put this quest together. This is probably one of the last main quests available in the game until they keep releasing new content for Bannerlord.

Mount & Blade II Bannerlord Plot Quest Guide

This quest is a mess. This Bannerlord Conspiracy Quest Guide from Mount & Blade II will walk you through what little information we have on this quest, Istiana’s Plan, which sees the disgruntled Soldier attempting to overthrow your Plot Thrown. While I can’t verify, I’m guessing Arzagos has a similar quest if you go for Istiana instead.

This is part of the main story quest. At this point, I can only assume that it is part of the Limited Content Limited Access package. I don’t think the quest is working as expected. As you continue your adventure, you will often receive prompts that the quest has failed, progressed, and returned. This represents the conspiracy that accumulates over time. You can check the plot total on the quest page.

Mount & Blade II Bannerlord Plot Quest Guide

To my knowledge, you cannot stop the plot in its infancy. I tried to hunt down and kill Istiana but she is invincible and takes no damage. So the only logical alternative is to wait. As the conspiracy continues to build, it will eventually encourage war. It may differ depending on your social status, your allies, your locations, but for me it has caused a war with factions in the Western Empire, North and South. At this point, new quest objectives appear that actually work.

You will be asked to either eliminate each of the enemies who declared war on you or fight them to sign a peace accord. The latter is actually simple, it’s very easy to make peace in Bannerlord, but ultimately the choice is yours. I’ll update this guide if something else happens, just wanted to make sure people stop wasting time trying to undo the plot early. Just wait around the 1400 Conspiracy marker, that’s when war breaks out.

Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord – How to Start Your Own Kingdom

It’s great fun to casually play Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord, but if you really want to experience the full range of what the game has to offer, then you should start your own Mount and Blade 2 kingdom.

However, be prepared to spend a lot of hours preparing all the necessary parts. Follow the steps below to become your own king.

How to start your own kingdom

1. Talk to the nobles

The first and most important task you have to complete is the main quest in the “Madness of Neretzes” scenario. This quest requires you to locate and speak to at least 10 nobles.

There are obviously a lot more nobles in the game, and some of them will be your enemies by the time you complete this quest. But if you can find 10 noble friends, you will take your first step in forming your own kingdom.

Here’s the list of the top nobles you can talk to during the Neretzes Madness quest, along with their respective locations:

  • Derthert (Vlandia)
  • Raganvad (Sturgia)
  • Olek (Sturgia)
  • Melidir (Battania)
  • Ergeon (Battania)
  • Unqid (Aserai)
  • Mesui (Khuzait)
  • Lucon (Northern Empire)
  • Rhagaea (Southern Empire)
  • Garios (Western Empire)

When you are done talking to the 10 nobles, you can move on to the second step of forming your own kingdom in Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord.

2. Assemble the dragon banner

“Assemble the Dragon Banner” is another quest that will appear in your quest log right after completing Neretzes Madness.

During this step you need to talk to Istiana and Arzagos. Istiana can be found in Epicrotea, and Arzagos can be found in Marunath.

Each will give you the location of a hiding place. Go to the markers on the map and win the battles there. After winning both, you will receive the Dragon Banner Coins, which can now be used to form your own kingdom.

Now, if you want to create a non-imperial kingdom, which is completely independent from other factions, go back to the Azragos. If you want to create an Imperial Kingdom and support an existing faction, return to Istiana.

In either case, tell them you want to create your own kingdom by following these dialogue choices:

  • “I collected all the pieces of Dragon Banner”
  • “How can I create my own kingdom?”
  • “Thank you.”

When this step is completed, you will have a new quest in your journal of your choice, which will finally allow you to create your own kingdom.

3. Start your own kingdom

This new quest will take you to the final stage in the formation of the kingdom. Here you need to perform the following actions:

  • Reach clan level 3
  • Gather 100 soldiers
  • Be an independent clan
  • Possess a settlement

Once all four conditions are met, a new kingdom tab will appear in your game menu. Now you can either start diplomatic relations with other kingdoms or conquer their lands by fighting wars.

How to create your own kingdom in Mount & Blade II Bannerlord

Complete Nerezet’s Madness

When you first create your character and start the game, you will automatically receive the Nerezet’s Folly quest. And to create your own kingdom – if you do it without mods – you have to complete this quest.

The quest begins by asking you to learn more about the Madness of the Nerezet, and in order to do that, you’ll need to talk to 10 nobles. You cannot get this information with a random noble. You will need to reduce it to the nobles listed below:

  • Rhagaea of the Southern Empire
  • Monchug des Khuzait
  • Lucon of the Northern Empire
  • Unqid of the Aserai
  • Mesui of the Khuzait
  • Hurunag of the Khuzait
  • Shut up the Aserai
  • Olek of the Sturgian
  • Raganvad of the Sturgian
  • Battanian Caladog
  • Battanian’s Mélidir
  • Ingalther of the Vlandian
  • Garios of the Western Empire

These are just the ones I discovered, but I know there are more. The trick is to look for nobles with a blue exclamation mark next to their name.

Nerezet Banner

Once you are done talking with the 10 nobles, you will receive two separate quests: Meet Istiana and Meet Arzagos.

Istiana and Arzagos can be found in the locations provided by the quest. Istiana will want you to rebuild the Empire, using Nerezet’s dragon banner, while Arzagos wants you to do the exact opposite.

Both will ask you to retrieve the three parts of the banner, all of which can be found in a bandit hideout near their location.

If you have completed this quest, congratulations: you are on your way to becoming a ruler of Calradia.

Kingdom creation requirements

You have completed the Madness of Nerezet quest, you can now create a kingdom. But first, you will need to meet certain conditions:

  • Reach clan level 3
  • Be an independent clan
  • Have more than 100 soldiers in your party
  • Own a colony

Reach clan level 3

Raising the level of your clan is not a difficult task, even if it takes a long time. To reach clan level 3, you will need to gain reputation and fame. This can be done by winning battles, defeating bandit lairs, winning tournaments, etc. The greater the challenge, the more fame and reputation you gain, the closer you are to creating a kingdom in Bannerlord.

Independent clan

This part is pretty much given, as no one who wants to be a ruler tends to join another clan. If, however, you have chosen to level up your clan in another realm, you will have to abandon the realm to create your own.

Keep in mind that while it is easier to level your clan with the help of other Lords, once you leave their realm your relationship with them will diminish.

Have over 100 soldiers in your party

Again, no trick here. You need at least 100 soldiers in your party to create your own kingdom.

They don’t need to be first level units. Go from village to village and take all the recruits they offer, but keep in mind that you will need enough money to pay their wages and their food, otherwise they will give up the party as quickly as they join. .

Own a colony

There is no nice or polite way to do it, you will have to choose an enemy and conquer lands on them. Doesn’t need to be a town, so I would suggest attacking a castle with lower garrison troops, especially on the border of their territory, as conquering a castle in the middle of their territory will leave you surrounded. enemies.

Choosing between the Istiana and Arzagos approach is the final step in creating your kingdom in Calradia. It means choosing between creating an empire kingdom or a non-empire kingdom.

And There you go! You have your new kingdom! From there, it’s up to you to recruit Lords for your kingdom, conquer new settlements, and do whatever the rulers do! Also, since you will be in a vulnerable situation from the start, I would recommend that you get married and produce heirs, so that, you know … in case you die, you can continue playing as one of the ‘them.
