Sony today unveiled a new mid-priced model – the Xperia XA2 Plus. The smartphone surprises positively in many respects, thanks to which the whole promises to be very interesting. Here’s what you need to know about the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus
It’s not often that a manufacturer keeps all the information about a new device until its official launch. As a rule, a few weeks before we know what the device will look like and what specification it will offer. It is all the more pleasing that Sony managed to keep all information about the Xperia XA2 Plus until the very end, which has a very positive effect on the premiere itself.

The smartphone is equipped with 6-inch display with Full HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratiowhich is additionally covered Gorilla Glass 5 glass. It is worth noting that the XA2 Plus is the first smartphone in the manufacturer’s portfolio that has a display of this type with rounded corners.
The heart of the XA2 Plus is Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor with Adreno 508 graphicswhich is supported by 4GB or 6GB of RAM. For user data allocated 32GB or 64 GB of built-in memorywhich can be extended with cards with a maximum capacity of 400GB.
The quality of the photos in this model is the responsibility of Mrsingle main camera with a resolution of 23 Mpx with f/2.0 aperture and hybrid autofocus. There will also be ISO 12800which will help you take better photos in poor lighting conditions. On the front, there is an 8 Mpx camera with f/2.4 aperture and a wide-angle lens with a viewing angle of 120 °.
Connectivity in XA2 Plus is provided by the following modules: dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, Glonass and Beidou. There was also no shortage 3.5 mm headphone jack, USB 2.0 type C port and Dual SIM, which in this case is optional and only available on selected models. In terms of security, we get fingerprint reader.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus works under control Android 8.1 Oreo with the manufacturer’s overlay and draws energy from 3580 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology. Everything has dimensions 157 x 75 x 9.6mm and weighs 206 grams.
Price and Availability
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus will go on sale in August, but initially it will be available exclusively in the Plus network. Smartphone on the open market is due to arrive in Octoberand its price is to be PLN 1699. So far, it is not known which variant has been priced so much, because as I mentioned, XA2 Plus is available in a version with 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM. I am almost sure that in this case it is a variant with 4 GB. It is also worth adding that there will be four color versions on sale: black, silver, gold and green.
