Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tops collection of planned releases for Nintendo in 2018.
Nintendo your participation in the event has started in a big way E3 2018. Nintendo has released the first images of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and other details about the new installment of a series that has sold more than 40 million units worldwide. This new title for Nintendo Switch, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, allows eight players to engage in action-packed combat in which the goal is to catapult popular video game characters off the screen. Legendary video game worlds and popular wrestlers come together in an all-out fight at E3 2018 through June 14 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

These are other announcements that the Nintendo Direct has brought:

• Holders of the expansion pass Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will receive access to Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country, which will be available on September 14. In this new story mode, players discover the full story of Jin and the misfortune of the kingdom of Torna, which existed 500 years before the events of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. • DAEMON X MACHINA: A new fast-paced mech action game from Kenichiro Tsukuda is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2019. Players will wear his customizable Arsenal outfit on various missions to take down the enemy at all costs. They can choose and customize their Arsenal with multiple weapons, profit from fallen enemies and switch them on the fly to adapt their strategy according to changing circumstances.
• Overcooked! 2: Kitchen chaos returns in this sequel to Team17 and Ghost Town Games. It comes with even more recipes, characters, cuisines and cooperative uncontrol. Bake and grill with up to three players in local wireless and online modes. Save the world from bad cooks starting August 7.

• Killer Queen Black: Renewed from the ground up, this arcade gem turned phenomenon now comes to Nintendo Switch. Players can snail ride, hoard fruit, or exterminate the enemy’s queen to claim victory in Killer Queen Black from Liquid Bit and Bumblebear Games, available for Nintendo Switch this year.
• Hollow knightVenture into the beautiful and mysterious hand-drawn landscapes of a forgotten world in Team Cherry’s Hollow Knight, an action adventure brimming with thrilling combat and haunting secrets. Hollow Knight for Nintendo Switch, available today, also includes the new items, zones, characters and bosses from the already released content packs.
• Octopath Traveler: Players will be able to enjoy a new demo of Square Enix’s new fantasy epic starting June 14 on Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch. Play the demo and then transfer the save data to the full game when you have purchased it. You will live the stories of eight travelers and freely explore the world of Orsterra. Octopath Traveler is scheduled to launch on July 13.

2018 holds even more great titles, including EA Sports FIFA 19 by Electronic Arts, Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate from Capcom, Dragon ball fighterz and Dark Souls: Remastered from BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus by Bethesda Softworks and Starlink: Battle for Atlas from Ubisoft, which includes characters and content from the Nintendo Star Fox franchise that are exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version of the game.
To celebrate E3 2018, Nintendo eShop will offer discounts on select digital titles that have made some of the Super Smash Bros.
