This 2021 will start with the restart of one of the most popular Spanish series. We talk about The intership, a production premiered in 2007 that immediately obtained a good reception and became one of the most successful Spanish series.
Now, Amazon Prime Video has prepared a reboot series of El internado entitled El internado: Las Cumbres, where a new story will be told focused on a group of young adolescents who are housed in a boarding school located in a remote wasteland.
Directed by Laura Belloso, responsible for the original series of El internado, and Denis Rovira van Boekholt (The influence, The griffin), the series The boarding school: Las Cumbres it locates its plot in a school located next to an old monastery, in an inaccessible place between the mountains, totally isolated from the world. The students interned at this school are all troubled kids who are treated under very severe and strict discipline to be reintegrated into society.
The surroundings of the center are bordered by a wide forest in whose interior they house ancient legends and threats that seem to continue in force today, which will cause the boarding school students to end up entering various adventures as fast as they are terrifying.
