The beautiful tributes to Carrie Fisher, Princess Leia from Star Wars, on the anniversary of her death.
There have been displays of affection and memories for Carrie Fisher on the anniversary of the death of the actress who played Princess Leia in Star Wars.
2020 has been a year in which we sadly had to say goodbye to actors from the original Star Wars trilogy like David Prowse, the man in the Darth Vader suit, or Jeremy Bulloch, who wore the armor of Boba Fett in the original trilogy of Star wars. Despite everything, the permanent memory of Carrie Fisher invaded the hearts and minds of fans yesterday, when it was 4 years after the death of the actress.
The character of Princess Leia, in addition to being one of the most beloved by Star Wars fans and the most representative in the imagination of George Lucas and the history of cinema, was a milestone by representing a woman capable of saving herself in an industry where traditionally the role of women was reserved for that of “damsel in distress”.

The anniversary of the death of Carrie Fisher has made relevant figures such as Mark Hamill or Billie Lourd pay tribute through social networks to the late actress and former partner in the cast of the star wars movies.
There have also been thousands of fans who have wanted to dedicate a few words in memory of Carrie Fisher and her most iconic character, filling the networks with emotional memories and making it clear that Carrie Fisher’s legacy as Leia organa it has transcended far beyond his death.

Without a doubt, it has been four years with a great void within the community of star wars fans. Every time one of the actors who marked our childhood leaves us, it is as if a part of ourselves died with them. Although as long as we can continue to perpetuate his legacy through his characters, they will never have completely died.

A massive thank you to all of the community members that attended our tribute to #CarrieFisher. Sadly, we did have some technical hiccups, thank you for being so patient. Carrie & Princess Leia will forever live-on within our galaxy far far away .. #StarWarsGalaxies pic.twitter.com/9WvZvi2yEi
