Currently, the Android market allows us enjoy phones with spectacular value for money, not being necessary to spend large sums of money to enjoy complete smartphones practically point by point. Both in terms of power and in relation to the photographic section and other multimedia aspects, we find competitive proposals in the mid-range.
We’ve compiled the best phones that we can find in the price range between $ 200 and $ 449. It is not too high an investment given the thousand or more than a thousand euros that can be found in the high-end, without giving up good specifications.
Samsung Galaxy A51
The Samsung Galaxy A51 is an aspiring bestseller that was a decent evolution from its previous model. In favor of the same comment as we have a very similar design to the Samsung Galaxy S20, so we can take advantage of this design line for very little money.
At the specification level, it has a home Exynos processor, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. expandable via microSD cards. Its 4000 mAh battery is also a good asset, in addition to having a quad camera system.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite
With a Snapdragon 730G, a curved screen with AMOLED technology and a massive 5,260mAh battery, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite is one of the best mid-range phones today. The set is accompanied by four cameras, an infrared port and a headphone jack, which makes it a more than complete alternative.
Samsung Galaxy A71
For a little more money we can choose the Samsung Galaxy A71, a terminal that in this case bets on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730, one of the best processors currently in the mid-range. The memories are quite ambitious, with a base configuration of 8 + 128 GB expandable via microSD cards.
We also have a four camera system and a gigantic 4500mAh battery with 25W fast charge, exactly the same setup as the Samsung Galaxy S20 +, so it doesn’t look bad at all.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite is the Xiaomi 5G alternative, a proposal that in this case bets on the Snapdragon 765G. Apart from that, it has a 6.57-inch AMOLED display, a fast-charging 4000mAh battery, and a fingerprint reader under its display.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S
Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 9S is one of the more interesting mid-range devices today. It is a proposal with the renewed Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G. The basic configuration starts from 4 + 64 GB, although we can go up to 64 + 128 GB. In this case we have a 6.67-inch IPS panel with Full HD + resolution and a generous 5,020mAh battery, one of the highest in its segment.
At the camera level, we find four: main sensor, ultra wide angle, macro and depth sensor. Note that the device will soon receive MIUI 12, which makes it an interesting option to take advantage of the new Xiaomi layer.
OPPO A9 2020
The OPPO A9 2020 is a mobile that we were able to analyze and that we liked. It is a proposal with a Snapdragon 665, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB. The battery is its greatest strength, 5000mAh which allow us to exceed two days of use, in addition to four cameras that do their job very well.
Likewise, it is distinguished by a dual stereo speaker, a little more typical in the high end than in a mid-range model. In short, a mid-range with more interesting features at a fairly low price.
Samsung Galaxy M21
The Samsung Galaxy M21 is quite a beast on battery. With 6000 mAh, it manages to reach more than 15 hours of screen without spoiling. This, together with a camera that has good performance, a Full HD screen with AMOLED technology, make a good combination.
Samsung Galaxy M31
A small step above the M21 is the M31, an older brother who stands out for having a better photographic section. If we want to take that little jump, it’s worth it, because the price difference is not too big. We continue to keep the AMOLED display and 6,000mAh battery as the highlights.
The OPPO A52 bets both on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 and on a generous 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. It’s a different proposition, with four cameras on the back, good performance and a 6.5 inch screen with a perforation in its upper corner. It is a good alternative of around 200 euros.
Realme 6 Pro
The Realme 6 Pro is one of the best mid-range proposals in the order of 300 euros. I bet you a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, a 90Hz refresh rate display, being part of a generous 6GB of RAM, has over 4000mAh of battery power with 30W fast charging and is, in short, a winning horse.
A step above the A9 2020 is the OPPO A91, a terminal that makes the leap to OLED technology and has a Helio P70 processor. Accompany you 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of expandable memory and 4000 mAh battery with Super VOOC 30W load.
At the camera level, as in most of the terminals in this article, we have four sensors: main, ultra wide angle and two secondary 2 megapixel sensors. That’s not the terminal’s strong point, but it does well for its price range.
The Realme 6 is one of this year’s most groundbreaking mid-range offerings. It costs a little over 200 euros and offers along the way a 6.5-inch panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. These are the few mid-range devices with that refresh rate, accompanied by a fairly solvent Mediatek Helio G90T (up to par in many aspects of the Snapdragon 730G), a 4300mAh battery with a quick charge of 30 W and a 64-megapixel main camera as well as three other sensors.
The TCL 10L is a very different proposition in terms of design but with a fairly efficient material. Count with a Snapdragon 665, 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal memory and a four-camera configuration with a 48-megapixel main sensor. Plus, it has extras such as the rear fingerprint reader, headphone jack, and facial recognition through the front camera.
Huawei P40 Lite
Go ahead, the Huawei P40 Lite has no google services, although they can be installed manually. Despite this, the P40 Lite is an interesting option at the hardware level. It has the Kirin 810, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. Likewise, it has a 4200mAh battery with 40W fast charging, one of the fastest in the mid-range.
At the camera level, we have a main sensor, ultra wide angle, macro and depth sensor, in addition to a 16-megapixel selfie sensor. If we are a little tinkerer and know how to install Google services, this is a great option.
Motorola Moto G8 Power
If we want (almost) native Android, the Motorola Moto G8 Power is a good option. It is an offer Snapdragon 665, Quad Camera, 4 + 64 GB memory, screen with hole, Full HD + resolution, etc.
Its greatest asset is its 5000mAh battery, which comes with 15W TurboPower fast charging technology. It’s not the fastest in the compilation, but it’s certainly a good option for charging those generous milliamps.
The Honor 9X is one of the few options with a pop-up camera in the mid-range. It has a Kirin 710F processor, 128 GB base memory with 4 GB of RAM and a 4000 mAh battery. As this terminal is “pre-veto” has google services, a differential factor compared to the new devices of Honor and Huawei for this 2020. In terms of the camera, it has a 48-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel wide angle and a small 2-megapixel depth sensor.
2019 mobiles to consider
Although these options are the best at the moment mid-term 2020There are options from last year in this range from 200 to 450 euros. We leave you a list of these terminals with a year of life, but they are still alternatives to consider.
