The Binding of Isaac: Repentance will be, according to Edmund McMillen, the last DLC for the game.
Isaac has received several expansions since its launch in 2011: Wrath of the Lamb, Rebirth (which changed the game engine to keep adding content), Afterbirth and Afterbirth +. McMillen has indicated that this latest expansion will not be free but has not clarified the price.
Repentance will include content from one of the most popular fan-created mods – Antibirth. That content was limited to the PC versions of Rebirth and was not compatible with the following versions. Repentance will carry more new content in addition to the Antibirth expansion, including more story.
The Binding of Isaac: Repentance has no set release date, although McMillen says it should arrive on consoles in the next two months.
Its official! Binding of Isaac: Repentance is the FINAL (for real this time) DLC for isaac. it will include the amazing Antibirth mod + a ton more content that will make you s**t your butts! im working along side @FixItVinh to tweak the mod and make it canon!
