The long-awaited Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Multiplayer Beta is now live on PlayStation 4! Players who pre-ordered the game on PS4 will receive a beta code for immediate access to the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Multiplayer Beta. You’ll experience Infinite Warfare’s multiplayer firsthand, including the new maps, new combat armor system, new weapons, unique progression system, mission teams, select multiplayer modes, and much more. The beta starts today and ends Monday, October 17 at 7 p.m. This is the official multiplayer beta trailer!
“Infinite Warfare multiplayer places a strong emphasis on customizing the gameplay experience to accommodate different playstyles, and that starts with battle armor,” said Dave Stohl, Studio Head of Infinity Ward. “In the beta, players will be able to try out our new combat armor, abilities, gear, and of course, our new craftable prototype weapons. There are tons of cool new things to experience with the new maps and game modes, and we can’t wait to share this part of our multiplayer with the community. The data we’ll be gathering over the next two weekends will be very helpful in finalizing the full multiplayer experience we’ll be presenting at launch next month.”
The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Beta is just a taste of full multiplayer, but fans will already have access to a lot of tried and tested features as well as new ones. Beta participants will also be able to experience one of the biggest new additions to the multiplayer world of Infinite Warfare – Battle Armor. The new combat systems or suits adapted to six playstyles allow the players a new complexity of the modification. Battle Armor Choices provide a new element of strategy for fans as they personalize their gear with selectable abilities (charges and traits) before engaging in combat. Three of the game’s six different battle armor sets will be playable at the start of the beta.
The Infinite Warfare Beta features three distinct maps designed for a variety of conflicts. They all fully immerse players in the fast-paced, fun, and action-packed gameplay that players have come to expect from Call of Duty. The beta features multiple game modes, including fan-favorite Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, as well as the all-new Defender game mode. In addition, the players get to know the mission teams. By joining different teams and then leveling up, they can earn unique team rewards, including calling cards, camouflages, emblems, weapons, and more. Stay tuned to the Activision Games Blog for more details on the content of the beta!
Players fight online with a vast arsenal of weapons and gear, and have access to new scorestreaks, primary and tactical grenades, and customization options to tailor the multiplayer experience to their playstyle. More multiplayer content, features, maps and game modes will be included in the final game upon release on November 4th.
