The Last Worker is a first-person adventure set in Jüngle Fulfillment Center 1, the largest retail facility on earth. The title is about humanity’s struggle in a world where humans are increasingly being replaced by robots. The game combines a hand-drawn style created in collaboration with comic book legend Mick McMahon (Judge Dredd, 2000 AD) with uniquely addictive game mechanics.

In addition, Wired Productions has announced the Jüngle Pronto Edition of The Last Worker. The Pronto Edition will be released in 2023 and includes a reversible cover, Jüngle stickers and a double-sided poster.

The Last Worker delivers an emotional, thought-provoking story with richly crafted characters, voiced by an all-star cast that Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter, Star Trek Discovery), Olafur Darri Olafsson (The Meg, True Detective), Clare Hope Ashitey (Children of Men), David Hewlett (The Shape of Water) Zelda Williams (The Legend of Korra) and Tommie Earl Jenkins (Death Stranding) belong. The Last Worker was created by Olivier Kraus who is known for his collaborations with artists such as Adele, Sia and Florence and the Machine.

“Like his real-world counterparts, Mr. Jüngle has a lot to be happy about,” says Author and director Jörg Tittel, whose company Oiffy produces the game. “While he’s making billions, hordes of increasingly dehumanized workers struggle to get you the superhero-themed electric toothbrush head on time. Of course we couldn’t let him get all the $$$ so we made this cynical product for you. Happy capitalist ho-ho horror!”

“The player embodies Kurt, a tall man with a big beard who delivers ‘gifts’ on a flying scooter,” says Ryan Bousfield, creative director at Wolf & Wood. “Even though you have robots instead of reindeer, it’s a testament to the immersive power of VR that such an unusual and stylized world still feels ‘real’ when you’re in it!”

The Last Worker will be available on Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PSVR 2, Xbox Series S|X and Meta Quest 2 in 2023. Players can wishlist the title today via Steam and PlayStation .
