The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – On the advice of Miyamoto, one of the important systems was transformed.
So far, we’ve known that Miyamoto Shigeru isn’t just superficially involved in his various projects, so it’s no surprise that one of the novelties of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild would have gotten into the game quite differently if the legendary designer hadn’t intervened.
While gamers have now discovered a wealth of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, developers can still provide plenty of new information, such as development time. Now, game director Fujibayashi Hidemaro and artistic director Takizawa Satoru have also shared some extremely interesting stories with GameSpot.
They told of the involvement of Nintendo veteran designer Miyamoto Shigeru, for example, who seems to have followed the work of the huge team working on the game very closely this time, which also affected the game’s main systems.

“Roughly halfway through the development period, we had an ability to stab your gun in a wall while climbing. If your stamina was nearing the end, you just stabbed the gun in the wall and then you rested there for a bit.”
Takizawa recalled. Miyamoto, on the other hand, encouraged the team to throw away that idea.

“When Mr. Miyamoto heard about this concept, he said, ‘But you can’t stop at the tip of a sword.’ ..) Then we also experimented that you could only insert your weapon into small crevices and openings, but then you wouldn’t have been able to use the ability freely everywhere. So in the end I decided we wouldn’t build it. “
said Fujibayashi, who said it wasn’t the only system in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild that he had to discuss thoroughly with Miyamoto.

“From the early stages of development, we regularly showed Mr. Miyamoto how far we had progressed. We even went to him every week, because if we hadn’t done it and then shown us a finished idea in person, he might have covered the table for us!”
Fujibashi seems to have not only gone to unnecessary control over Mario’s creator, as the vast majority of players and critics also loved the new Zelda game.
