The Spiderman: Head to Poker Series 2 can even bring a Japanese Spiderman.
The Spider-Man: Heading in the second part of the Poker Series, the Asian web weaver could easily show up, and if that happens, of course, the Leopard robot won’t stay away for long either.
Chris Miller, Spider-Man: Direction One of the producers of the Poker Series, was recently part of a “Quarantine Watch Party.” You know, this fun is very popular these days, with creators and fans watching a particular movie “together” (everyone stays at home, of course, but they start the cinema at the same time and keep chatting on social media sites while filming). Miller hinted here that the sequel could even feature the Japanese Spider-Man.
The version of Spider-Man in question actually covers a 1978 live-action TV series produced by the Toei Company, in which a young motorcyclist, Takuya Yamashiro, one day sees a crashing UFO, which is actually a battleship called Marveller. Takuya’s father, Dr. Hiroshi Yamashiro, is a “space archaeologist” (meaning anything) who wants to investigate the crashed ship but kills him. For the evil ones are emerging: Professor Monster and his evil army, the Iron Cross Army, who want to rule the entire universe.

Takuya follows in his father’s footsteps to the ship, where he meets the last living inhabitant of the Spider Planet (graduated with Professor Monster), Garia. Garia injects her own blood into Takuya, who thus acquires spider abilities. You also get a special bracelet that you can use to develop your costume, activate your net throwers, and control the Marveller as well – the latter can be transformed into a giant robot (imagine like Power Rangers-like machines) called Leopardon. How much more original is this than a standard Marvel story?
Well, Chris Miller appears to be planning to bring in the second Spiderman: Head to the Poker Cinema movie for this character as well. In one of his tweets during the Watch Party, he said:

“Leopard also appears on one of Miles’ draws … is that a sign of things coming soon?”
Let’s face it, Spider-Man: Heading into the really crazy chaos of adoration in the Poker Universe would make room for Takuya Yamashiro as well – they had already appeared in the official Marvel comics and there was no complaint about them.

The Spider-Man: Heading to Poker Series 2, by the way, will arrive in U.S. cinemas on October 7, 2022, as the premiere, originally scheduled for April 2022, has been postponed due to the coronavirus epidemic.
