Mobvoi, which in 2017 raised funds on Kickstarter for the creation of the TicWatch S&E, has so far launched several smartwatches equipped with Wear OS, among which the TicWatch Pro 2020, announced in January, and the TicWatch C2 +, presented at the end of June, stand out.

Now he comes back with a new model that the company itself classifies as “affordable” because its price does not exceed 60 euros. In return, the TicWatch GTX gives you 24/7 heart monitoring, sleep tracking and 14 training modes, as well as IP68 resistance certification and up to 10 days of battery life. It was presented in the United States barely a month ago, and now, finally, it is landing in Spain.

Availability and price of the TicWatch GTX

The new TicWatch GTX will be available in a single version with a black case and a matching 20mm thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) strap. It will go on sale September 24 at a price of 59.99 euros, but you can already book on the Mobvoi site with a 10% reduction (53.99 euros).

14 training modes and 10 days of autonomy

The TicWatch GTX watch has several applications to track health, among which stand out heart rate monitoring, automatic sleep tracking and activity recording (steps, calories, etc.). Fitness tracking is activated by 14 training modes, including running, cycling, swimming, and yoga, and all data can be viewed via the Mobvoi app or directly on the TicWatch GTX watch.

As a smart watch, it also supports notification of incoming calls and messages, music control, stopwatch, timer, flashlight and Find My Phone function. In addition to the four preloaded dials, it is also possible to personalize the watch with photos stored on the mobile or with one of the 17 additional dials which can be downloaded from the Mobvoi app.

According to Mobvoi, the TicWatch GTX’s battery is optimized for longer runtime, promising up to 10 days of battery life with power saving mode on or up to seven days with regular use. Finally, his Waterproof and sweat-proof IP68 certification (which makes it suitable for swimming) and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity (yes, it lacks WiFi, NFC and GPS).
