The Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite arrives in Spain: official price and availability.

A little over a week ago Xiaomi announced the Mi Watch Lite, its new smartwatch. It is a somewhat more basic model than the Mi Watch and, of course, cheaper. The device appeared first on its global website and it was not known if it would reach Spain, but the company just confirmed that it does.

The Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite It can be purchased from December 18 on the company’s website, at Mi Stores, Amazon, El Corte Inglés and MediaMarkt. Soon it will also arrive at FNAC. Its price is 59.99 euros, although on the occasion of its launch it will be available for 49.99 euros between December 18 and 20.

Cheap and with GPS

Despite its price, the device does not forget one of the functions that are generally reserved for higher-end watches: GPS. The Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite has a built-in GPS (GPS + GLONASS) chip, so we can go out to do sports with him and record the route without having to carry the phone with us. It also has a heart rate sensor, sleep monitoring, air pressure and altitude function. What is not mentioned is that it has an SpO2 sensor.

The watch is rectangular, like the original Mi Watch, but it shares more features with the Redmi Watch than with its predecessor. Thus, we have a weight of 35 grams, a button on the right side to interact with apps and menus and a 1.4 inch color touch screen TFT / LCD with 320 x 320 pixel resolution. This is one of the big differences with respect to its predecessor, which had an AMOLED screen.

The operating system is proprietary and has its own functions for smartwatches, see exercise monitoring (it has 11 training modes) and receive notifications directly on the wrist. Xiaomi has emphasized that the watch “includes push notifications with emoji compatibility”.

As for the battery, the Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite arrives with 230 mAh and, depending on the brand, it is capable of offering up to nine days of autonomy. From Xiaomi they also add that it charges in two hours. In any case, we already know that the real autonomy depends on the use that each user makes of the watch.

As we indicated previously, the Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite can be purchased from now on the Xiaomi website, in the brand’s stores and on Amazon, MediaMarkt and El Corte Inglés. Its price is 59.99 euros, although until December 20 it will be reduced by 10 euros. Is available in black, blue and white color.
