There has never been such a map in PUBG – see the Paramo teaser.
Although Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds does not enjoy such enormous popularity as at the turn of 2017 and 2018, it is still one of the most readily played productions on the market, as evidenced by the data from Steamcharts. The interest in the title is fueled by news that from time to time appear in this online shooter based on the battle royale mode (i.e. the last one alive wins). The next important “fresh” will debut in the title with the start of the ninth season of the competition, which will take place on October 21 on PC and on October 29 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It will be another map, rather of the smaller type – Paramo plateau. You can see her latest teaser below.
The first information about Paramo appeared at the end of September, when wooden crates containing mysterious stone tablets and a letter from the excavator Dr. Burton Northrop were sent to selected people dealing with Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds. As we learn from a video published last week on the official Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds channel, this scientist went to the Andes in order to find the mythical Fountain of Youth. It is to be located in the city of Paramo shrouded in fog. This mission ultimately drove the archaeologist crazy. But what did he really find? And what does the mysterious Tythonic Industries corporation have to do with all of this? Players will be able to find out about it (as long as they simply do not prefer to kill each other). You will receive new information about the title universe if you subscribe to this page.
PUBG Corp named Paramo as the first map available in Playerunknown’s Battlegroundswhich will change dynamically. What does that mean exactly? As we read on the official website, players can expect random flows of lava from a nearby volcano and locations that will be different every time we jump out of the helicopter. It is worth noting that this will be the debut of these machines in the discussed production. They will not only transport players to the battlefield, but also deliver crates. Interestingly, there will be an option to shoot down helicopters with supplies, thanks to which players will not have to watch where the package lands, but try to capture it as close to their position as possible.
Apart from the new map, what can we expect from Season 9 of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds? Among other things, a new, special mode and as many as two season passes. The first of these will be released in patch 9.1 straight away, and will allow you to earn exclusive rewards related to the Paramo culture. The second, while focusing on a certain “infamous PUBG character”, will be introduced in Update 9.2.
The Paramo map should be full of surprises.
The ninth season in Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds will last two months and on paper it looks quite interesting. Will it be so in reality? We will find out about it soon.
