Thermaltake has just presented its new Riing Trio 14 RGB Radiator Fan fan pack. As its name suggests, these new fans have been designed to be used in the radiators of liquid cooling circuits, with the feature of being able to control its different functions with voice control thanks to its compatibility with Amazon’s Alexa assistant.
Thermaltake’s Riing fan series has been on the market for several years now. However, these new fans that the brand is presenting today are different from other models from other manufacturers thanks to their compatibility with Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant, which allows voice control of all fan parameters: from the type of lighting that have to vary the speed of rotation of the same when they are in operation. Of course, they can also be controlled through software from the user’s own computer. They can even be configured so that the color of the lighting varies depending on the temperature inside the box.
The three fans that are part of these Thermaltake Riing Trio 14 RGB Radiator Fan use PWM power, and are controlled from a module that has to be mounted inside the box. This module allows you to control up to five Riing fans and connects to a USB port on the motherboard to control the function of the fans, and to a 4-pin Molex connector on the power supply.
Thermaltake Riing Trio 14 RGB Radiator Fan will be silent
The new Thermaltake Riing Trio 14 RGB Radiator Fan are all models, as the name suggests, that have a diameter of 140mm. Its rotation speed is from 500 to 1400 rpm, which generates a maximum air flow of 66.54 cfm, each of them, obviously. As bearings, Thermaltake has chosen to use hydraulic bearings, due to their high resistance to wear and low noise emission when they are running. For these Thermaltake Riing fans, their loudness is stated at 25.6 dBA. That sonority qualifies them as only rumorous.
The life expectancy of these fans is 40,000 hours, although the manufacturer itself covers them with a two-year warranty from purchase.
Thermaltake has commented that this pack of Thermaltake Riing Trio 14 RGB Radiator Fan fans is expected to be already on sale through its network of authorized distributors in different countries, although it has not commented on the price they will have in the market.
