These are Nintendo’s plans for E3 2017.
There is only one month left until E3 in Los Angeles, the most important video game fair in the world, which will take place from June 13 to 15, and, one more year, the event will mark a key moment in Nintendo’s plan to deliver news on the launches that it has planned for the rest of the year. Nintendo has prepared a busy week of activities at the fair, with Super Mario Odyssey as the highlight, as it will be the first time that Mario’s new adventure can be tested in an open world for Nintendo Switch. Users can also try other novelties of the new Nintendo home console, as well as learn about new games in the video presentation Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017 and in the already classic program Nintendo Treehouse: Live at E3 2017, broadcast live from the Nintendo booth. Fans of the competition will also enjoy broadcasting game tournaments for Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo’s activities at E3 will begin on Tuesday, June 13, at 6:00 p.m. PDT with its video presentation. Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017. The presentation can be followed in Spanish from the Nintendo Europe website dedicated to E3 2017, and will offer more details on Super Mario Odyssey and other Nintendo Switch games, with special emphasis on the titles scheduled for this year.
Immediately after Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017, a new edition of the Nintendo Treehouse: Live at E3 2017, the content program broadcast live from the company’s booth at the fair, which this year will provide information on upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo 3DS family of consoles. From June 13-15, fans will be able to watch live matches of featured games at the Nintendo Treehouse: Live at E3 2017 through the Nintendo channels on Twitch, where the “chatroom” will be available in the native language of the viewers. In addition to live games, the broadcast will include unpublished information on the development and comments from the game developers themselves and members of Nintendo Treehouse. Nintendo Treehouse: Live at E3 2017 content will only be broadcast in English.

When the Nintendo booth opens to the public on June 13 at 12:00 (Los Angeles time), fair attendees will be the first in the world to experience Super Mario Odyssey, as well as other games for the Nintendo Switch. Super Mario Odyssey is Mario’s first open world adventure since Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine.
In addition to these activities, Nintendo will also organize game tournaments for Nintendo Switch that will be broadcast live from the E3 fair. Specifically, the 2017 Splatoon 2 World Inkling Invitational It will be held on June 13 with Splatoon 2 as the protagonist. Comprised of four squid crews from Europe, the United States, Japan and Australia / New Zealand, who have previously qualified for the final, the tournament will face teams for the first time in an international Splatoon 2 competition. The second tournament, the 2017 ARMS Open Invitational, will take place on June 14 and, as the name suggests, will be starred in the new fighting game ARMS, which will be released for Nintendo Switch the same week as E3, on June 16.
