These games sold the best 2019 sales in Europe.
There is even a place for our beloved plumber.
Years pass, but when it comes to the sales results of proven brands, some things have not changed. Here are the 9 most-bought by production players in 2019. The list is valid only for products purchased in Europe. The data was provided by the European game industry research organization ISFE. It is also unclear whether these results relate to boxes or digital versions of the following works.
The best-selling games of 2019 in Europe
The winner of the entire list is definitely Electronic Arts. FIFA 20she took first place, and her younger brother, “nineteen”, is just behind the podium. This is another proof that the most popular football simulator is still doing well, despite harsh criticism from the gaming community. This is certainly related to the fact that FIF is also bought by people who are not gamers on a daily basis, and the EA Sports product is their only form of contact with digital entertainment. Electronicists can also be proud of the financial performance of Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The Star Wars brand turns out to be alive forever.

It is also worth taking a look at the other “medalists” on the list, i.e. Grand Theft Auto 5 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Their positions may not surprise you, but they are still impressive. GTA 5 he will be 7 years old in September, and he is still at the top of the popularity charts. It will also appear on the new generation consoles – PS5 and Xbox Series X – in 2021. Rockstar can also boast the second game in the ranking, Red Dead Redemption 2.
Modern Warfare’s success is one thing, Warzone’s triumph is another.

CoD, in turn, is a series that already has 16 full-fledged titles, and is still selling perfectly well. New Modern Warfare was an unprecedented success that along with it came a free and standalone game mode Brewed, and this one quickly became a serious competitor in the battle royale genre. Another online FPS that has done really well financially is Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege Ubisoft, perfect as a direct competitor to CS: GO, and recently also Valorant.
The list ends with inconspicuous titles (because they represent the genre of arcade racing games), but extremely addictive. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, a remake of the iconic work from 1999, is on the ninth position. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the only representative of Nintendo in the ranking, is eighth. The presence of both productions proves that colorful racing games are still doing at least well.
