Whether they end up delaying a few weeks or not, this year Apple will present four different models of iPhone 12 and the range of Apple smartphones will grow as we have never seen before. A few days ago we were speculating with the possible prices of each of the different iPhone 12, and now one of the voices that has leaked the most data in recent weeks about Apple has just spoken.
This is Jon Prosser, a youtuber who has shown to have a lot of credibility in terms of his leaks about Apple. In the recent past he has already demonstrated this todetermining both the launch date and the price that the recently launched iPhone SE would have. Now he has just pronounced on the prices of the new iPhone 12 range and we could say that it is good news.
A cheaper iPhone 12, another more expensive and the rest the same
With this headline the prices of the new iPhone 12 could be summarized as revealed by Prosser. As we know, Apple is going to present a fourth model this year with a 5.4-inch screen, that is, a smaller and more affordable model. This model will be cheaper than the iPhone 11, however the 6.1-inch iPhone 12, its natural replacement, will increase its price slightly and will cost the same as the iPhone XR at the time.

As we can see, Jon Prosser has revealed the price that his internal sources at Apple estimate for the new iPhone, in addition to sharing some of the specifications that these new iPhone will have. We have converted the price from dollars to euros following the strategy currently being applied by AppleRemember that the price in dollars is without taxes, the price in euros would be the final price with VAT applied.
- iPhone 12, 5.4-inch OLED screen, two cameras and 5G: 649 dollars / 759 euros.
- iPhone 12, 6.1-inch OLED screen, two cameras and 5G: 749 dollars / 859 euros.
- iPhone 12 Pro, 6.1-inch OLED screen, three cameras + LiDAR and 5G: 999 dollars / 1,159 euros.
- iPhone 12 Pro Max, 6.7-inch OLED screen, three cameras + LiDAR and 5G: 1,099 dollars / 1,259 euros.
As we can see, the prices would remain quite stable, on the one hand the iPhone 12 Pro would maintain the same prices that they released, first the iPhone X and then the iPhone XS and XS Max. On the other we have the most affordable models, The iPhone 12, which will cost 50 euros more and 50 euros less than the current iPhone 11. Only one question remains to be resolved: whether Apple will keep the iPhone 11 in its catalog as it has done this year with the iPhone XR.
If the iPhone 11 disappears, Apple would have a range that starts at $ 399/489 euros with the iPhone SE and jumps to the $ 649/759 euros of the first iPhone 12. Perhaps it is too big a jump and the iPhone 11 may have a hole for about 559 dollars / 659 euros, but we will have to wait for the month of September or for new information to confirm it.
