TOP 5 mobile games similar to Red Dead Redemption 2.
At the end of October, a big event took place. The production that many have been waiting for a really long time has debuted on current-gen consoles. Of course, we are talking about Red Dead Redemption 2. A title that may turn out to be one of the best games of all time, and certainly one of the best games of the current generation of devices. However, unfortunately, fans of westerns and the open world have to get used to the taste when it comes to the mobile version of this production. Yes, we do have an application for mobile phones, but it is only a supplement to the “normal” version of the production for consoles. That’s why I decided to find some Wild West productions for Android and iOS for you. Of course, these games will not match the scale and capabilities in any way, but they should definitely help us get into the atmosphere of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Six-Guns: Gang Showdown
Gameloft – a French developer, has been releasing various productions for many years, which are modeled on large AAA console games. We already had a copy of Grand Theft Auto some time ago. Therefore, it was only a matter of time before a game modeled on Red Dead Redemption appeared. Six-Guns: Gang Showdown is a game that takes full advantage of the solutions of the large version from the Rockstar studio. An interesting story line, a lot of different activities, and most importantly, the game offers new updates every now and then, thanks to which you can immerse yourself in this title for many hours. Most importantly, this production is available on both iOS and Android for free (Of course, Gameloft takes care of microtransactions, but fortunately they are not that annoying). Probably the largest and most extensive mobile game in the Wild West setting. You can find the game on Google Play or the App Store.

Westland Survival
If you are fans of MMO games, and on the occasion of the Wild West, this production will be a great solution for you. The whole thing is preserved in colorful, quite comic graphics. In the case of mobile games, this approach works best. The production is available on both Android and iOS for free. Unfortunately, this is paid for by the appearance of advertisements and the micropayment system, but the latter element is almost a standard in every game that is made available to users for free. A lot of different activities, playing with a live player are the distinguishing elements of Westland Survival. You can find the game at this link for Android, and here for iOS.
Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath
Oddworld is an unconventional production. First of all, this is not your typical Western. It can be called more of an arcade game in the Wild West climates, to which fantastic themes have been added. The whole is preserved in a rather specific, crazy form. However, it’s great fun nonetheless. A large open world, a large number of various types of orders, etc. The game is certainly worth attention, the more that in terms of graphics it definitely does not differ from the best smartphone competition. Compared to the others, the game is paid and its normal price oscillates around PLN 12.99 for the Android version (although you can often find good promotions here), while paradoxically it is cheaper on iOS PLN 4.99.

Westy West
In our list, you could already find a full-fledged MMO game, an open-world title, now it’s time for a light and enjoyable title, which with Red Dead Redemption 2 is primarily thematically related. In Westy West, we move our protagonist, a cowboy, on angular boards and we have to defeat more thugs, save civilians and go through more maps. The whole thing has a purely arcade character, thanks to which there is no plot here, but simple gameplay. He can check the whole thing on his smartphone for free and I mean both the version for the system signed with the green robot and iOS.
The Lawless
The last item on the entire list. The production is again different from the others. Definitely darker. We are a sheriff whose task is to eliminate all opponents. In Westy West we watched the entire game from an isometric view, here we are dealing with a solution known from shooters, where we look at the world through the eyes of our protagonist. In The Lawless we do not move, we only aim at the other opponents. The creators call this solution cinematic gameplay, but in most cases this solution can be found under the name rail shooter. Like most productions from the list, you can find it for free in the Google Play store and the Apple App Store.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a production that will set standards in the gaming industry for years to come. The title is largely huge and extremely extensive. However, fans of mobile technologies who like the climate of the Wild West should not be disappointed. Productions with such momentum as in RDDII are hard to find on smartphones, but you can certainly find ones that make a lot of fun and as soon as we stop playing Red Dead Redemption 2 we can feel the atmosphere of the western again. Do you know any other titles that are based on the Wild West and are designed with mobile technologies in mind? Let me know in the comments.
