Tutorial: How to install incompatible applications iPhone, iPod Touch & iPad.

Hello SamaGame Readers, today I come with a tutorial to solve a problem that we have all been having and that is when we try to download an application from the AppStore and it does not let us either install it or even download it and the worst thing is when we try to synchronize our devices with iTunes and we Delete the application since it is not compatible so here I bring you the verified and verified solution, enjoy!

Note: the tutorial is not very similar to WhatsApp to install it on any device.

Requirements

• Have iPhone, iPod Touch iPad with firmware 4.0 onwards

Process:

Now the first thing is to have the IPA file of the application you want to use, you can download it from SamaGame either on our desktop or from the iTunes path

I will use Tiny Tower and Google + (Google + is free but apparently it doesn’t let you download it to the iPod Touch only to the iPhone), so the first thing to do is open the IPA file with Winrar for this we right click on the IPA file and we poke him open with

If it does not give you the option to automatically open with winrar then we will click on Choose default program…

Then this screen will appear and we choose Winrar and accept

Then since the program opened we are going to bite the payload

and then a folder will appear in this case it is called Tiny Tower.app, we click on it

then we look for the Info.plist file and extract it by dragging it out as in the image

Now that we have extracted the file, we open it with the Plisteditor for windows that you downloaded at the beginning. (DO NOT CLOSE THE WINRAR WINDOW WE WILL USE IT LATER)

Now this is the part that is different, depending on the application that you want to modify, it is what you are going to change in the file, here I give you an example.

in my case I am using an iPod Touch with iOS 4.2.1

First we go down to the bottom of the document and what we are mainly going to look at is where it says UIRequiredDeviceCapabilites This section tells the application what hardware is needed for the game to work (many times it is not true and it does work on devices a bit older than required but if there are games where you need a newer device for example with a more powerful chip and the game will not work even if they manage to install them so keep that in mind)

Below that line we find a part that says Accelerometer Y opengles-1

under each of them says true we are going to change it to false

By modifying those lines we do not affect the game, we only remove the restrictions and it does not cause side effects. These changes are in case they ask you for a more advanced hardware but sometimes these changes are not enough so now we are going to look a little higher and if we look closely there are some parts where we see numbers that refer to firmwares as in the image above in line 45 says 4.2 seed 2 we are going to change it to 4.2 that is, we remove seed 2 so that it looks like the image below

If you look, we changed so that the firmware that my iPod uses was compatible with the game, so if your firmware is 4.3 then you can put it as I put it since your firmware is higher than the one specified, then the point is that if we see that there is any number like that that indicates a firmware higher than the one we have, we can change it so that this restriction includes our firmware, for example, if your FW is 4.0 then we change all those numbers to 4.0 and that’s it! Now we simply click to save the changes and close the window

Now we drag the info.plist file that we modified back to the Winrar window and once the program to put the file is finished we close Winrar

Now we are going to put the IPA file via SSH to the iPod with the program that you have, either WinSCP or iFunbox and they are going to put it in this path: /private/var/mobile/Documents/Installous/Downloads or install it with iTunes

Then they simply install the application with Installous and that’s it!
