Warner Bros. Games releases Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate.
Warner Bros. Games announces that Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, a new edition of Mortal Kombat 11, the fastest-selling title in the series’ history with sales exceeding 8 million units worldwide, out now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, consoles Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, PC and Stadia series. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is an expanded version of the critically acclaimed Mortal Kombat 11 game, winner of Best Fighting Game of the Year at the 23rd DICE Awards from the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, as well as Best Fighting Game of 2019 by IGN “ was awarded.
Developed by award-winning NetherRealm Studios, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate offers the definitive Mortal Kombat 11 experience with the additional Kombat Pack 2, featuring new playable fighters Mileena, Rain and Rambo, as well as the previously released Mortal Kombat 11 base game, Kombat -Pack 1 and the Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Expansion. All owners and new buyers of Mortal Kombat 11 on PS4™ and Xbox One can also download the PS5™ and Xbox Series X|S versions of their game for free – with dynamic 4K resolution, improved graphics, reduced loading times and more. It should be noted that this upgrade will only be available to PS5 or Xbox X|S owners.
Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is available now at a suggested retail price (MSRP) of €59.99 with all 37 playable fighters, story content and game modes including:

- Kombat Pack 2 – New fighters: Mileena, half Edenian half Tarkatan evil clone of Kitana; Rain, the royal Edenian demigod; and Rambo, the legendary elite soldier voiced and likened by actor Sylvester Stallone, as well as character skins inspired by Rambo, Rambo: The Mission, and Rambo III.
- Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Expansion – The first story expansion, continuing the epic story of the main game, with three playable characters (Fujin, Sheeva, RoboCop) and 10 additional character skins.
Kombat Pack 1 – Six playable characters (including Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, Sindel, Joker, Terminator T-800 and Spawn) and 25 additional character skins. - Mortal Kombat 11 – Packed with content and game modes for all types of players, including the critically acclaimed story campaign, custom character variation system, Towers of Time, Friendships, Stage Fatalities and much more. There are also new and familiar fighters, each bringing their own fatalities to the screen in devastatingly brutal cinematic scenes.
- PS5 Upgrade Available – All owners and new buyers of Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Collection and Mortal Kombat 11 on PS4 can also download the PS5 version of their game as a free update – with dynamic 4K resolution, enhanced graphics, reduced loading times and more. It should be noted that this upgrade will only be available to PS5 owners.
- Set Up for Xbox Series X|S Smart Delivery – All existing and new owners of Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Collection, and Mortal Kombat 11 on Xbox One can also purchase their Xbox Series X Download |S – with dynamic 4K resolution, improved graphics, faster loading times and more. It should be noted that this upgrade will only be available to Xbox Series X|S owners. In addition, players using the Xbox Series X|S will need to download an optional online update in order to use the 4K movie effects in the game.
- Supports Krossplay – Players can compete cross-platform in select modes on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Things to note: Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is currently available for PS5 and PS4, but the physical version for PS4 won’t be available in North America until January. The Nintendo Switch version is currently only available digitally in North America, and the PC and Stadia versions are digitally only available worldwide.
