Watch Dogs: Legion – new RTX hardware requirements.

The premiere of the third installment of the Watch Dogs series is approaching and PC players have already had the opportunity to check if their computers can handle this production. However, if you are interested in playing with ray tracing enabled, you should have another look at the information from the publisher. Ubisoft company updated hardware requirements, mainly changing the recommended configurations when using ray tracing. There are also other differences to the information provided by the French company a month ago, albeit not as significant.

Watch Dogs: Legion – new RTX hardware requirements

The new requirements take into account the previously absent configuration with ray tracing enabled for 1440p resolution, de facto being a slightly modified version of the previous requirements for Full HD. The only difference is the graphics card: the GeForce RTX 2070 has been replaced by the RTX 3070. The same applies to 4K: the list includes the new RTX 3080 with 10 GB of memory. However, the publisher’s recommendations for ray tracing in 1080p resolution have changed significantly (although this takes into account the low settings of this technology). A full list of the Watch Dogs: Legion hardware requirements is presented in the above graphic provided by Ubisoft. The game will debut on PC on October 29, along with the releases for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The title will also be available on ninth-generation platforms immediately after the premiere of these devices (November 10 for XSX / S and November 19 for PS5).
