What can and cannot be done on Whatsap Web compared to WhatsApp on mobile.
Contents
We are going to explain to you what are the main differences between WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp in its mobile version, to understand what can and cannot be done in both versions. WhatsApp Web is the tool that allows us to use the service through the browser and without having to install anything when we are on the computer, a link that allows us to connect through the network to our mobile app.
Besides having the main limitation that WhatsApp Web only works if we have the mobile on and with enough battery, there are some other limitations to be aware of.

What you can and cannot do with WhatsApp Web
WhatsApp Web lets us do practically the same as the mobile version of WhatsApp, although there are some differences. We can send messages, photos, videos, documents, contacts, etc. The main shortcoming when it comes to sharing on WhatsApp Web is that we cannot share audios or location. However, as we can send any type of document, nothing prevents us from sending an audio document, which would be the same as sharing audio itself.
The most notable limitations in WhatsApp Web are the share menu, the lack of access to various configuration options, and the inability to make calls and video calls, beyond Messenger Rooms.

The other limitation of WhatsApp Web is that we cannot make voice or video calls. We have direct access to the Messenger Rooms service (as it is a Facebook app), but we cannot use WhatsApp video calls and calls. Similarly, we also do not have access to relatively deep settings of the app, such as privacy, security, two-step verification and so on.
We also cannot create broadcast lists nor add contacts to the phonebook from WhatsApp Web, functions that, as you can see, are accessory. Regarding using emojis, GIFs search engine, stickers, looking for messages, setting chats and the rest of the basic functions of WhatsApp, we can use them without problem
