WhatsApp already allows you to silence the notifications of any chat forever: this is how it is done
WhatsApp has finally added one of the functions that many users most wanted: the possibility of permanently mute notifications for a conversation. Until now it was only possible to do it at intervals of eight hours, a week or a year.
The good news is that now the function that was available for some time in the beta version of WhatsApp is now available to all users, and you can use it both from WhatsApp for iOS and Android, as well as from the desktop version.
How to silence a WhatsApp chat permanently
The process is extremely simple, if you use the WhatsApp app for Windows or macOS you just have to select a chat, click on the menu button at the top right (three vertical dots), and choose the option Mute notifications.
