At first glance, if we look at the promotional images we see that its creators have opted for a fairly large screen. Specific 4 inch with a resolution of 480 × 854 pixels. Its dimensions by the way are: 125 × 63 × 11.9mm and weighs 149 grams.
As for the Xiaomi Phone processor, it is a real beast: 1.5 GHz dual-core processor Snapdragon S3 and 1GB RAM as well as 4GB of internal memory expandable with a micro SD of up to 32 GB. Who said the Chinese don’t make powerful technology? You’ll have to see it at work, but the phone is definitely brimming with power.
In terms of connectivity, it will have Wifi, Gps and Bluetooth. The phone will be quad-band and will not come with 4G. At the moment it is not an essential requirement, seeing the slow evolution of these networks, so it will not be missing much.
Xiaomi Phone will have a 8 megapixel rear camera and it seems that it will not have a front for videoconferencing and self-portraits. Personally it is not something that I miss but possibly more than one if I do.
An interesting detail of this terminal is the 1930 mAH battery which, according to official data, will offer 30% more autonomy than other similar terminals. In any case, here you have the autonomy according to the manufacturer: 450 hours of standby, 15 hours of calls, 45 hours playing music, 12 hours of video and 6 hours playing non-stop.
As for the software Xiaomi Phone will come with the latest version of the ROM from MIUI, that is, that at least will feature Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread in the absence of a new update coming out before the launch of the terminal. The bootloader will come unlocked so we can install another ROM compatible if we wish.

Let’s talk about prices now. Xiaomi, the manufacturers of the terminal, have announced that the phone can be reserved from August 29 at a price of 310 dollars, about 215 euros. An affordable price if we take into account the characteristics of the terminal and that it is also free.
