Year Assessor 2017: as Mocsy saw it.
This time, SamaGame’s editor-in-chief, Grand Master of Abstinence, Mocsy is shooting firecrackers at your memories.
The noble tradition of the year evaluator now looks back on several years of history, and it seems that as wine will, over time, Mocsy will get better and better, as this time he put a pile of pictures next to his writing while leaning against the counter.
I can’t tell you how glad I am that this year is over. Respectively, there are still a few days left, but I can handle this semi-soberly, although I may not want to, the article writing after the second orange-campari combo is going especially well.
With unbroken optimism, I always hope that the new year will be better than the previous one. This year it really didn’t come together. There were a lot of negative things all of a sudden, there was all sorts of trouble, things didn’t go the way I imagined at home, three kids went to a new school, you don’t want to know how stressful it is to have to deal with even different agencies because they think that it is a good idea to separate the seven-year-old twins. Luckily, at the height of September, things calmed down, everyone started the new school, there were fewer and fewer loud words at home, I was able to concentrate better on work and games.
The only problem is that there were very few games this year that would have really tied me up. It says a lot about the 2017 lineup that I spent by far the most time this year playing a 2015 mobile game, the Galaxy of Heroes. I never would have thought of that about myself, a year ago I would have laughed at the one who faces it, now days will not pass without looking at the game. It’s a bit like me in early World of Warcraft. Fresh game ideas, a very good Hungarian guild, realistic goals can be achieved together and of course it doesn’t hurt to have some long-term strategic sense.
He plays in a free field in theory, but since Electronic Arts is the publisher, it doesn’t hurt to have Mr. Mastercard on hand or we have self-discipline that embarrasses Jedi masters. You were wrong to think that Battlefront II lootboxes are the culprit of money hunger. In GoH, the packages of thirty thousand forints are completely natural, which helps us to improve one of our characters a bit. The only problem is that the field is well over a hundred characters and we weren’t talking about the fleet at the time, you can also spill a lot of money on them. Real big whales spend $ 4000-5000 a month smoothly on the game, it’s impossible to compete with them.
Few games on the console and PC fronts could tie me up, I’m getting more and more bored with modern, triple As game ideas because I’ve met them in some form during my career. This year, perhaps Horizon Zero Dawn and its add-on was the console game I had the most fun with, though it would be an exaggeration to say that the game was teeming with brand new ideas. Regardless, it was well put together, typically the game you try to push through on a harder level with new weapons and fighting manners for the second time.
2017 was also a pretty tough year for SamaGame, this year we tested how stressful it is to make two magazines instead of one in a month. Baromi is burdensome, it was evident in the editorial mood, we were much more impatient with each other, even Chava with Zen Buddhist serenity sometimes pulled herself up on something small, which is a pretty sure sign that it’s time to get back out of the shoot a bit. By the end of the year, everyone was very tired mentally, just in time for the rest of the year.
Luckily, I don’t have big lags in terms of vows, this is the fourth year this year that I’ve been paying attention to what I’m eating and how much I’m moving (drink the drink, anything can come of it – RG). Approaching pretty slowly (damn, damn fast) at fifty, it’s already a survival strategy, I’m always horrified at the news where I hear men my age suddenly wake up not waking up. I don’t want to strengthen this camp and if that requires me not to die on the couch while watching a series in the evenings, but to sweat on the exercise bike, but be it, I’m willing to make such a sacrifice in order to dance sometime at my little girl’s wedding.
This time I want to wish everyone a very happy new year and lots of quality games!
