General tips for playing Valorant and a list of agents you should pay attention to

Valorant is an e-sports project that combines the themes of a shooter, map control, an agent system and unique skills with team confrontations, where each round decides the overall outcome of the meeting.

Riot Games continue to implement their project as a competitor to CS GO and took a number of features from the famous shooter, but this only gives an impetus to the entire industry of team shooters, because Valve also revised their economic system and reduced the number of rounds for winning in CS 2 – now there are 13 instead of 16 just like in Valorant.

Communication

Valorant is a team game, where the ability to use the power of your agents and the teamwork of the entire squad determines who will take more rounds and become the winner of the match, receiving a Valorant rank boost.

Moreover, we are not only talking about teamwork with the players with whom you play together all the time, but also with random teammates.

If you use voice communication, know the positions in order to voice them correctly when confronted with an enemy, are not conflicting and try to find a compromise with other group members, then you can play well to confidently take your 13 rounds.

Just talk through the places of attack and defense, offer your options, agree on who is buying what weapon and who will spend the money to help a teammate with a lack of finances for a full purchase.

Voice the positions of enemies, the use of skills that can harm not only enemies, but also allies, comment on grenade throws just like professional players do.

A serious approach and attention to detail will allow you to get boosts in Valorant much more quickly and consistently.

Economy

All equipment and kills with it will bring you money, which is added to the rewards that are awarded for victories, defeats and draws in rounds.

Each type of weapon has a different cost for killing enemies, where automatic weapons and shotguns bring more money, but they are also much more difficult to kill enemies with and are more often used to massacre enemies when they play the economic round.

The sniper rifle kills the enemy with one shot when hit, but is the most expensive and pays the smallest amount for killing an enemy, and you need to survive at least two rounds without losing the weapon to compensate yourself for this amount.

For a full round, the team must have one sniper and four shooters with assault weapons and a full set of grenades, and it doesn’t matter whether you play defense or attack.

If your team loses a lot, then you will run out of money and when there is not enough to fully purchase weapons for the whole team, you need to play an economic round, when players do not buy expensive means and choose a maximum of armor-piercing pistols and do not buy armor to try to knock out the enemies more funds and take a round if possible in order to fully purchase in the future.

The most ambitious teams can replace the economic round with a reinforced one, in which they buy an armor-piercing pistol and body armor and begin a cautious round of shooting enemies, where there are good, although not 100%, chances of winning the round and improving their financial capabilities.

Teams that know how to play well in any conditions – even with a full purchase, even with a forced one, even with an economic one – will more often receive cheap boosting in Valorant.

Agents

Each player can choose his own agent on which he will play in order to receive unique skills in addition to his shooting capabilities that will help your battle group get rounds and win matches for the sake of boosting rank in Valorant.

Agents are different, but they can be developed into three groups – scouts, attackers and supports.

Scouts

Sova

A hero who uses his bow to deal damage and locate the enemy.

You release a special arrow that can bounce off obstacles until it sticks into a solid object and will broadcast for the hero everything that happens around him until he releases a new arrow, or this one is destroyed.

Jett

A fast character who uses her dashes and distractions to quickly move around the map, gather information about enemies and destroy single targets if she has the opportunity.

Cypher

Master of Cameras and Traps – uses his drones to know about the movements of enemies and at the same time can set special traps that will cause damage upon contact with the target.

Attackers

Brimstone

A hero who can use skills to attack and limit vision for your enemies.

You will be able to install full-fledged smoke screens, which will greatly prevent enemies from attacking or defending, because they will not know where exactly the opponents are, and advancing through the smoke is always dangerous, because when leaving it, the enemies will see you before you see them, a split second, which is already enough to kill.

Accordingly, try not to attack into the smoke, or go out quickly and not stand in one line.

You will be able to open an interactive map and use a powerful artillery strike at a selected point to destroy the enemy.

Phoenix

A hero who uses fire as his tool to influence enemies and territory

You will be able to use fire grenades, which will set the floor on fire and cause damage to all players who come into contact with it.

You will be able to use a sphere of darkness, which will greatly limit the vision of all players who fall within its radius.

Supports

Sage

This is a hero who acts as a nurse and barricade master for your gameplay.

You can use walls to block the movement of enemies and force them to go around it, or destroy them and then reveal your plan.

You can use healing spheres to help the wounded and even resurrect one of the players who died on the game map.

Killjoy

A master of defense who can use his turrets and traps to fortify sites and the center of the map in order to attack enemies on the approaches, rather than directly on the site.
